Yadlowski was a consistent contributor to a developing Hurricanes defense and was ranked 25th in NHL Central Scouting Services WHL fall preliminary rankings for the 2009 NHL Entry Draft... Winner of the Hurricanes Scholastic Player of the Year Award... Co-winner of the Hurricanes Most Improved Player of the Year Award... 2007-08 - had a solid rookie campaign in 07-08 and logged good minutes as a 16 year old defenseman in the WHL... Co-winner of the Hurricanes Scholastic Player of the Year Award... Co-winner of the Hurricanes Most Improved Player of the Year Award... 2006-07 - Yadlowski was a fifth round pick and the first defenseman chosen by the Hurricanes in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft (97th overall)... Family Ties: Brennan’s dad, Warren Yadlowski, is a former Edmonton Oilers draft pick, and WHL Calgary Wrangler. Ironically the Wranglers would eventually move to Lethbridge becoming the present day Hurricanes. Brennan’s younger brother Austin is a WHL prospect drafted by the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft.
