Lethbridge Hurricanes Schedule

Schedule is tentative and subject to change until finalized and released by WHL
Lethbridge, AB
– The Lethbridge Hurricanes are very proud to release their tentative schedule for the 2010-11 season of Hurricanes hockey. This schedule includes game dates only and is tentative and subject to change until finalized and released by the WHL in August. The official schedule will include game start times, however it should be noted that start times for Hurricanes home games will remain at 7:00PM for all games excluding Sundays which will have a 6:00PM start. **This rule will have only a few exceptions which will be highlighted once the official schedule has been released.

Some highlights:
September 14th vs. Red Deer (Nicholas Sheran Arena in Lethbridge)
Be sure to check out the Lethbridge Hurricanes in their only Lethbridge preseason game to be held on the west side at Nicholas Sheran Arena due to continued construction at the ENMAX Centre. Information on tickets and availability still to come so be sure to check back at www.lethbridgehurricanes.com for details.

Far and Away – Once again, due to continued building improvements to the ENMAX Centre, the Canes will begin the 2010-11 WHL campaign on the road with a pair of games in Calgary and Medicine Hat. The Hurricanes first game of the regular season will take place on September 24th in the home of the 2010 WHL Champion Calgary Hitmen.

October 8th vs. Prince George – Hurricanes Home Opener

The Hurricanes will finally make their 2010-11 home debut on October 8th, 2010 in Lethbridge as they play host to the Prince George Cougars and highly touted NHL Prospect Brett Connelly. The Canes will then follow this up with a October 9th home game against central division rivals – the Kootenay Ice. The Canes will only spend their first five games on the road this season as opposed to the eight in 09-10 – this is due to the WHL opening week being pushed back one week in 10-11.

Bring on the Tabbies – The Hurricanes will have eight matchups this season with their Highway 3 rivals the Medicine Hat Tigers – four of which will take place in the friendly confines of the ENMAX Centre. (Nov.7, Dec.12, Dec.17, Mar.12)

Welcome Back – The Vancouver Giants along with the Prince George Cougars were the only two WHL teams not to pay a visit to the ENMAX Centre in 09-10. The G-men as well as the Prince George Cougars will both play twice in the Bridge City in 10-11.
