Canes end pre-season in Crowsnest Pass

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes close out their 6-game preseason schedule in the Crowsnest Pass this weekend at the “Thunder Challenge.” The tournament at the Crowsnest Sports Complex in Coleman features the Hurricanes, Calgary Hitmen and Kootenay Ice with proceeds from ticket sales over the weekend going to support Crowsnest Pass Minor Hockey.

The Hurricanes improved to .500 in the preseason with a 3-2 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers on Wednesday at the ENMAX Centre and tonight will put their 2-2 record on the line when they face the Kootenay Ice. The Hurricanes will then close out the weekend Saturday night against the Calgary Hitmen, a team they faced back on September 5th and lost 6-1.

For ticket information on this event, contact Chad Petrone via email at chad@logomotives.ca or tickets can be purchased at the door as well.

Following their exhibition season, the Hurricanes will host the Tigers on September 21st in the DQ Home Opener at 7:00pm. Single Game Tickets are now on sale for all 36 regular season home games through the ENMAX Centre at (403) 329-SEAT.
