Canes vs. Warriors - Game Day Preview
 

The Hurricanes and Moose Jaw Warriors are meeting for the second time this season and the second time in less than a week. The Canes are entering tonight’s game after posting their first shutout of the season last night when they blanked Swift Current 4-0. The win improved the Hurricanes record to 6-6-1-0 on the season which is good for 4th in the Central Division and 7th in the East Conference. Moose Jaw is 4th in the East Division at 5-5-1-1 and they're 1 point back of the Canes in the Conference. The Warriors haven’t played since they dropped a 4-3 OT decision to the Hurricanes on the weekend. In that game, Moose Jaw held the lead 3 times and each time the Canes came back to tie it up on goals from Sam McKechnie, Spencer Galbraith and Jamal Watson. Jaimen Yakubowski scored the winner at 3:20 of OT for the win despite the Canes getting outshot 45-39.
