Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes are preparing for their next exhibition game – Wednesday September 12th at the ENMAX Centre against Medicine Hat. This will be the lone game for the Hurricanes in their home building and it will be their 4th of their 6 pre-season game schedule.
The Canes (1-2) opponent for Wednesday night’s game is the Medicine Hat Tigers (1-2), who they faced and lost 8-4 on Sunday. Canes 2010 8th round Bantam Pick (157th overall) Remi Laurencelle had a hat trick in the loss while Jay Merkley scored the other goal. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased through the Lethbridge Minor Hockey Association office with proceeds going to support Minor Hockey.
The Hurricanes are also pleased to help out the Lethbridge Food Bank for Wednesday’s game and are encouraging all fans to bring in a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Food Bank.
The Canes will close out their preseason this weekend at the “Thunder Challenge” in the Crowsnest Pass. Lethbridge will play the Kootenay Ice on Friday, September 14th and Calgary on Saturday, September 15th. For ticket information on this event, contact Chad Petrone via email at chad@logomotives.ca
