Hurricanes vs. Wheat Kings - Game Day Preview
 

The Hurricanes and Wheat Kings are playing in the first of 4 meetings this season. The Hurricanes are entering tonight’s game last in the Division and the Conference after a 5-2 loss to the Saskatoon Blades over the weekend. The Wheat Kings enter the game having knocked off Medicine Hat 7-6 last night. The Tigers held leads of 2-0, 4-2, and 6-4 before the WK’s scored 3 goals in a span of 2 minutes in the 3rd period to win.

Tonight’s game marks the return of Nick Buonassisi to the ENMAX Centre for the first time since the 20 year old was traded during the off-season to the Wheat Kings. As a member of the Hurricanes last year, Buono had 1G, 2A in 4 games vs. Brandon with the Wheat Kings winning the 2011-2012 season series 3-1-0-0.

Tonight also marks the return of Brady Ramsay who was suspended 5 games by the WHL for his actions vs. the Kootenay Ice on September 29th. Before his suspension Ramsay had 1G in his 4 games played. The next game for the WK’s and Canes will be November 9th in Brandon.
