Pregame Tailgate Party to benefit the United Way

The Hurricanes host the Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday, September 21st in the DQ Home Opener at 7:00pm and the Hurricanes are proud to team up with the United Way for this year’s pre-game Tailgate Party.

For the first time since the 2008-2009 season, the Hurricanes are at “home” to kick off the season and we’re getting it started with a charity BBQ from 6:00pm until 7:15 with balloons and tattoos for the kids in front of the NW entrance of the ENMAX Centre. Get yourself a burger, pop and chips and get set to cheer the team on to victory as they open up the 26th season of Hurricanes hockey against their rivals from Medicine Hat.

The tailgate party is made possible thanks to a number of participating sponsors including London Road Market and Davis GMC with proceeds from the event being donated to the United Way.

Friday’s game also marks the return of “Food Bank Fridays.” Bring a non-perishable food item for the Lethbridge Food Bank at each Friday home game throughout the season and enter your name in a draw to win a prize at each Friday home game.
