Lethbridge, AB - Hurricane Teams Red and White squared off in the final game of the 2012 Training Camp presented by ENMAX with the Alumni Trophy up for grabs. Chris Tai (White) and Tanner Kovacs (Red) went head to head in the battle against the goaltenders and on the bench, a pair of Canes Alum battled it out for bragging rights as Coaches. Cason Machacek took the reins for Team Red while Mike Wuchterl was back to defend the title he won last year as he coached the White team.

With Camp now over, 29 players who came out of camp will now prepare for the Canes 6 game exhibition schedule. (check back for the pre-season roster which will be posted) The first preseason game will be Wednesday, September 5th when the Canes head to Taber to play the Calgary Hitmen at the Taber Arena. Tickets for the Hurricanes game vs. Calgary on September 5^th at 7:00pm are available at Joe’s Skate Sharpening, Health Connection or at the door of the Taber Arena (4716 – 50^th Street)

Tickets for the Hurricanes game vs. Medicine Hat on September 12^th at 7:00pm are available at the Lethbridge Minor Hockey Association Office (Upstairs of Adams Arena, 1302 – 9^th Avenue North, Phone: 403-320-0745)

The Hurricanes will also visit the Crowsnest Pass to close out their exhibition schedule in the annual “Thunder Challenge” preseason tournament.
